About the role
We are looking for an Assistant Forging Production Engineer to support shop‑floor operations at our metal forging facility. You will play a key part in managing raw materials, planning production, and ensuring that delivery schedules are met while maintaining quality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Manage raw material inventory and coordinate its flow to the shop floor.
- Develop detailed production plans to meet delivery targets.
- Plan manpower and supervise shop‑floor activities to control rework and rejection rates.
- Collaborate closely with senior engineers on technical issues.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining ISO documentation.
Required profile
- DME or BE Mechanical degree.
- 1‑2 years of experience in a forging department.
- Knowledge of raw material handling and production planning.
- Experience in shop‑floor manpower management.
- Familiarity with ISO documentation requirements.
- Ability to work safely in a high‑temperature forging environment.
