About the role

Ziathlon, a multi‑disciplinary sports medicine clinic in Bangalore, is looking for an Assistant Doctor to support the Medical Director in delivering protocol‑driven care to athletes and fitness enthusiasts. The role blends clinical assessment, lifestyle prescription, and patient coordination in an outpatient setting.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive medical screenings, review past investigations and recommend new tests for approval.
• Perform biometrics including anthropometry, body composition, and vital signs at each visit.
• Shadow specialist consultations to understand diagnoses and align follow‑up care.
• Explain prescriptions and care plans in simple language and guide clients on next steps.
• Serve as primary contact for non‑program clients, ensuring regular follow‑ups and plan implementation.
• Monitor compliance with medication, nutrition, activity and other lifestyle prescriptions, identifying barriers and offering solutions.
• Orient clients to appropriate programs, explain benefits, structure and pricing, and facilitate enrolment.
• Prescribe lifestyle interventions under the Medical Director’s guidance and administer approved therapies.
• Act as medical liaison with external consultants to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR/clinic systems and handle client escalations in line with clinical and business priorities.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of relevant clinical experience.
• Ability to work under the guidance of the Medical Director.
• Full‑time availability in Bangalore.
