Assistant Cook – Full-time Kitchen Support

About the role

Delish Caterings is looking for enthusiastic Assistant Cooks to join its kitchen team in Hyderabad. You will support daily food preparation for regular catering, corporate orders, events, and special occasions, ensuring consistent quality and timely service.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation tasks such as cutting, chopping, marinating, and portioning.
• Follow standardized recipes and portion guidelines accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the kitchen.
• Support safe food handling, storage, and sanitation practices.
• Help with plating, packing, and organizing orders for delivery or service.
• Coordinate with senior cooks and kitchen staff to meet production schedules.

Required profile

• Foundational culinary skills and basic cooking techniques.
• Familiarity with Indian and regional cuisines.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen sanitation.
• Ability to follow instructions, recipes, and portion guidelines.
• Strong teamwork, time‑management, and organizational abilities.
• Physical capacity to stand for long periods, lift moderate weights, and work shifts including weekends and evenings.
• Basic literacy and numeracy for reading labels and measuring ingredients.
• Commitment to customer satisfaction, reliability, and a respectful attitude.
