About the role

Yoova Foodstuff Private Limited is seeking a motivated Assistant Cook to join its kitchen team in Chembur. This full‑time, on‑site role supports the head cook across the company’s cloud kitchen, café, and low‑calorie dessert brand, ensuring every dish meets the brand’s quality and health standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and follow standardized recipes and portion guidelines.
• Assist in cooking, plating, and maintaining consistent taste and quality.
• Maintain kitchen hygiene, organize storage, and handle basic equipment safely.
• Support inventory checks and stock organization.
• Help during peak service hours and coordinate with serving staff.
• Adhere to all food safety and cleanliness protocols.

Required profile

• Foundational culinary skills in basic cooking techniques and ingredient preparation.
• Understanding of food hygiene, safety practices, and proper storage.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced kitchen, follow instructions and collaborate with the team.
• Strong time‑management, attention to detail, and willingness to learn health‑focused menu concepts.
• Prior experience as an assistant cook, commis chef, or kitchen helper is preferred.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and peak hours as needed.
• Basic educational qualification; formal culinary training or certification is an advantage.
