Assistant Chef

About the role

The Assistant Chef will join the kitchen team at House in Ghaziabad on a full‑time, on‑site basis. This role supports daily food preparation, cooking, plating and ensures that all meals meet hygiene and safety standards while being delivered on time for staff and events.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients, cook dishes and plate meals according to established recipes.
• Maintain a clean, safe and hygienic kitchen environment in line with food‑handling guidelines.
• Execute menu items, control portions and ensure timely service for all meals.
• Monitor inventory levels, report shortages and assist with basic stock management.
• Document kitchen supplies and collaborate with management to improve meal offerings.

Required profile

• Prior experience working as a Chef or in a similar kitchen role.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment and follow standard operating procedures.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Ghaziabad and adhere to House policies and schedules.
