Assistant Baker

About the role

As an Assistant Baker at Odd Culture, you will work in an on‑site bakery in Gurugram, supporting the daily production of breads, cookies and other baked goods. The position is full‑time and involves early‑morning shifts to ensure fresh products for the café menu.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and measure ingredients according to recipes and production schedules.
• Mix doughs and batters, shape loaves, cookies and other items, and operate ovens.
• Maintain the house sourdough starter, manage levain maintenance, proofing and scoring.
• Monitor product quality and ensure consistency with brand standards.
• Keep the kitchen clean, organized and compliant with hygiene and safety guidelines.
• Assist with inventory checks, packaging and display of finished baked goods.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of professional baking experience.
• Hands‑on experience with sourdough, including levain upkeep and scoring.
• Comfortable working early‑morning shifts.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in craft.
