Assembly Technician (0-2 yrs) – EV Charger Production

About the role

We are a fast‑growing startup developing electric vehicle (EV) chargers. We are looking for a motivated Assembly Technician to join our production floor in Bengaluru. The role provides hands‑on exposure to mechanical, electrical and electronic assembly tasks while working under experienced technicians and a production supervisor.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in assembling mechanical enclosures, brackets, panels and sub‑assemblies following visual SOPs.
• Use calibrated torque wrenches and power screwdrivers to apply correct fastener torque values.
• Support cable‑management installation, including trays, glands, bushings and strain‑reliefs.
• Route and dress wiring harnesses, crimp ferrules and pin terminals, and label cables according to BOM.
• Observe high‑voltage safety, LOTO procedures and proper PPE usage.
• Handle PCBs, control modules and DIN‑rail components, performing visual inspections and maintaining ESD discipline.
• Assist with basic rework tasks, using a digital multimeter for continuity and voltage checks.

Required profile

• Completed ITI in Electrician, Mechanical, Fitter or Electronic Mechanic trade.
• 0‑2 years of relevant experience or recent graduation.
• Proficiency in English or Hindi.
• Willingness to work on‑site in a manufacturing environment.
