Area Sales Manager – Stock Broking

About the role

Profitmart Securities is expanding its branch network and seeks a dynamic Area Sales Manager to lead business acquisition and revenue generation in the stock broking and wealth management space. The role focuses on building high‑performing sales teams, expanding distribution channels, and achieving aggressive targets across multiple investment products.

Key responsibilities

• Drive overall sales and revenue growth for the assigned region, meeting monthly, quarterly and annual targets.
• Recruit, train, mentor and manage Relationship Managers and Sales Executives.
• Acquire new Demat & Trading accounts through direct sales and team efforts.
• Generate revenue from equity, futures & options, mutual funds, insurance, IPOs, bonds and wealth‑management products.
• Develop and expand relationships with HNI, retail, NRI and corporate clients.
• Build and grow the Franchise, Authorized Person, Business Associate and Referral Partner network.
• Conduct client meetings, investor awareness programs, seminars and other business‑development activities.
• Monitor team productivity, maintain a strong sales pipeline and ensure high conversion ratios.
• Analyze competition and market trends to identify growth opportunities.

Required profile

• Graduate; MBA/PGDM preferred.
• 5–10+ years of experience in stock broking, capital markets or wealth management.
• Proven track record in sales leadership, business development and managing large sales teams.
• Strong understanding of capital‑market products and ability to cross‑sell.
• Excellent networking, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
• Self‑driven, target‑oriented and passionate about sales.
