Area Sales Executive

About the role

The Area Sales Executive will be responsible for driving secondary sales, managing channel partners, and ensuring effective market execution across an assigned territory for Britannia's consumer product portfolio. The role acts as a commercial bridge between field teams and the business, coaching and supporting sales staff to meet targets.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve secondary sales targets and set clear objectives for the area.
• Communicate, track, and manage objectives with Area Workers (AW) and AWSM.
• Coach, evaluate, and support AWSM on best practices, sales call processes, and performance.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing dealers while prospecting new outlets.
• Execute visibility, merchandising, and activation plans as directed by the ASM.
• Launch new consumer promotions, trade schemes, and products through communication and sampling.
• Collect market intelligence on competitor activities and report insights.
• Ensure service level standards at dealer points and address consumer complaints.

Required profile

• Graduate or Post‑Graduate degree.
• Strong competencies in market execution, business development, channel partner management, selling and negotiation.
