Area Sales Executive – B2B Solar Solutions

About the role

The Area Sales Executive – B2B Sales will be based in Ahmednagar and will focus on expanding Xwatt Energy’s solar inverter and on‑grid solar portfolio among business customers. You will identify new corporate prospects, build relationships with distributors and installers, and drive revenue growth for renewable‑energy solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect, qualify and acquire B2B customers for solar inverters and on‑grid solar systems.
• Conduct sales visits, product presentations and prepare tailored proposals and quotations.
• Negotiate commercial terms and close deals while ensuring profitability.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and provide regular sales forecasts and reports.
• Collaborate with technical and operations teams to guarantee smooth order processing and post‑sales support.
• Participate in local promotional events, training sessions and brand‑visibility activities.

Required profile

• Proven B2B sales experience with strong lead generation, relationship management and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of solar energy products, especially inverters and on‑grid systems, or a willingness to learn quickly.
• Ability to conduct market research, analyse sales data and present clear reports.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for engaging business customers.
• Willingness to work on‑site, manage field activities and travel within the assigned area.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or related field preferred; relevant experience in renewable energy or electrical products is a plus.
