Area Manager – Insurance Business Development

About the role
The Area Manager will be responsible for generating insurance business across an assigned zone by partnering with relationship and channel partners. You will guide partners to promote Birla Sunlife Insurance products to their customers and ensure seamless pre‑ and post‑sales support.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and develop business opportunities with assigned relationship/channel partners.
- Coach partners to effectively market and sell Birla Sunlife Insurance solutions.
- Provide comprehensive pre‑sale and post‑sale support to partners and end‑customers.
- Monitor sales performance, achieve targets, and drive consistent quarterly growth.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address partner and client needs promptly.
Required profile
- Proven experience in insurance or financial services sales.
- Strong relationship‑building and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and lead a partner‑focused team.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi.
