Area Head – Gold Loans (Lucknow)

About the role

The Area Head – Gold Loans for Lucknow will lead the regional gold‑loan business, translating the corporate strategy into actionable plans while ensuring strong growth, profitability and risk discipline.

Key responsibilities

• Drive execution of the gold‑loan strategy across the assigned area, achieving targets for assets under management, disbursements, P&L and branch expansion.
• Build and nurture new relationships with all enabling functions and regional stakeholders to support the business.
• Lead and manage multiple branch heads and distributed branch teams, providing direction and performance oversight.
• Define business plans, manpower structure and productivity benchmarks in line with the national strategy.
• Ensure full compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal policies.
• Monitor portfolio performance, market trends and take corrective actions as needed.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in gold‑loan or secured‑loan business within an NBFC or similar financial institution.
• Proven ability to lead large, geographically dispersed teams and drive results.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Deep understanding of regulatory requirements governing gold‑loan products.
• Analytical mindset to monitor portfolio health and market developments.
