Area Business Manager – Bharat

About the role

The Area Business Manager – Bharat will be responsible for driving retail growth across the region for Aditya Birla Lifestyle Brands. This role focuses on generating footfall, expanding the store network, managing franchisee relationships and ensuring operational excellence in existing outlets.

Key responsibilities

• Execute footfall generation plans and monitor quality.
• Provide inputs for store business plans and conduct competition mapping.
• Identify and develop new store opportunities and generate leads for regional managers.
• Serve as primary liaison with franchisees, ensuring compliance with SOPs and encouraging investment.
• Conduct regular store visits, recommend merchandise adjustments and address gaps.
• Oversee store opening timelines, recruitment, and checklist management.
• Ensure compliance with cash, stock, cost, housekeeping and staff attendance standards.
• Perform store audits, enforce SOP compliance and maintain store standards.
• Collect and analyze consumer information to tailor strategies per store.

Required profile

• Proven experience in retail business development and store operations.
• Experience managing franchisee relationships and ensuring SOP compliance.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret competition data and consumer insights.
• Capability to travel across the assigned region and manage multiple store openings.
