About the role

Atlaaya Design is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Architect to join its studio in Udupi. You will translate client visions into sustainable architectural solutions, balancing aesthetics, functionality, and environmental responsibility.

Key responsibilities

• Develop architectural concepts and detailed construction drawings for residential, commercial, and institutional projects.
• Coordinate design documentation, ensuring compliance with local building codes and green building standards.
• Collaborate with clients, internal teams, consultants, and contractors to refine requirements and maintain design intent.
• Review construction drawings, support site inspections, and uphold quality standards.
• Contribute to project planning, timelines, and resource coordination to deliver projects efficiently.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in architecture and design with a focus on sustainable, energy‑efficient solutions.
• Experience in project management, including planning, scheduling, and stakeholder coordination.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture; professional licensure is a plus.
• Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and construction practices.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AutoCAD.
• Proficiency with Revit.
• Proficiency with SketchUp.
• Experience using BIM tools and workflows.
