ARAS PLM Developer

About the role

Airbus is seeking an ARAS PLM Developer to join its Bengaluru team. The role focuses on designing, customizing and implementing PLM solutions using ARAS, while ensuring reliability, security and support of the related infrastructure and applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy custom solutions in ARAS PLM modules, including API integrations with legacy systems.
• Collaborate with Agile teams to unit‑test, implement and support full‑stack technical solutions.
• Manage Level 3 support incidents, analyse complex issues and drive continuous improvement of IT solutions.
• Perform ARAS administration tasks such as installation, upgrades, batch loading and utility management.

Required profile

• Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 3‑5 years of software development experience, including 2‑4 years on ARAS PLM implementation projects.
• Ability to work European shift times when required and willingness to travel short‑term to Europe.

Required skills

• ARAS PLM development, customization and deployment.
• API development for system integration.
• SQL Server, SQL scripting, JavaScript, ASP.NET, C# and AML.
• Web technologies: XHTML, XSL, CSS3.
• Experience with cloud services, Agile/SAFe methodologies and tools such as JIRA, VersionOne, G‑Suite.
