Application Developer - SAP ABAP HANA

About the role

IBM Consulting is looking for an Application Developer specialized in SAP ABAP HANA. You will design, develop, and support application solutions that leverage the HANA version of Advanced Business Application Programming, working closely with clients to modernize their SAP landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain SAP ABAP HANA application components.
• Integrate software packages, programs and reusable objects across multiple platforms.
• Re‑engineer complex components to improve performance, scalability and reliability using ABAP Development Tools (ADT) and SAP HANA coding guidelines.
• Create and maintain data models in HANA Studio, ensuring data consistency and integrity.
• Consume HANA Live models to deliver real‑time analytics using ADBC, Native SQL and ABAP Core Data Services.

Required profile

• Master's degree (required).
• Proven experience with SAP ABAP HANA development.
• Strong knowledge of SAP HANA technical concepts and architecture.
• Experience in data modeling with HANA Studio.
• Familiarity with code performance rules for SAP HANA.
• Experience integrating software packages across platforms.
