Application Architect .Net – Associate Architect

About the role

Join Deloitte's AI & Engineering team to design and deliver modern, scalable, and secure .Net applications for Fortune 1000 clients. As an Associate Architect you will lead workstreams covering new builds, modernization, cloud adoption and multi‑region deployments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead architectural discussions with business and functional analysts to understand requirements and assess integration impacts.
• Prepare and own the technical architecture and design, clarify requirements and resolve ambiguities.
• Develop solutions that align with established architectural designs, integration standards and quality processes.
• Create and enforce technical design guides, templates and architectural standards.
• Facilitate ARB meetings, manage architectural deliverables and provide weekly status reports.
• Conduct detailed architectural reviews and mentor team members.
• Design automation templates, frameworks or scripts to standardise development and operational tasks.

Required profile

• 7‑12 years of industry experience with at least 6 years in a technical architect role.
• 5+ years of hands‑on cloud‑native architecture design and implementation for enterprise applications.
• Proven experience delivering application modernisation, migration and multi‑region deployments.
• Ability to produce low‑level designs such as flow charts, sequence and class diagrams.
• Strong knowledge of reusable .Net components, EF Core, logging and monitoring.

• Containerisation with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS, AKS)
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible
• CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure Pipelines, AWS CodePipeline, GCP Cloud Build
• Monitoring: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Splunk
• Databases: SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, NoSQL options
• Entity Framework Core, NuGet.Net CLI
• API management: Swagger/OpenAPI, Postman, OAuth2, JWT, SAML
