Application Architect L1

About the role

We are looking for an Application Architect (Level 1) to design high‑level application and database architectures that meet functional requirements and integration standards. The role sits at the intersection of business analysis and technical design, ensuring that new solutions align with our digital transformation goals.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business and development teams to gather and analyse module‑level requirements, data flows and integration expectations.
• Produce high‑level architecture diagrams for applications and databases, adhering to established frameworks, patterns and API design guidelines.
• Evaluate the interaction of proposed applications with existing systems, databases and infrastructure to confirm integration feasibility.
• Support testing activities post‑deployment, troubleshooting issues and validating that the implemented design behaves as intended.

Required profile

• 8–10 years of experience in application architecture, design or related engineering roles.
• Proven ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Strong understanding of integration patterns, data flow management and database layering.
