Android Developer (SDE II/III)

About the role

We are seeking strong Android developers at the SDE II and SDE III levels to build and scale a high‑engagement consumer technology platform. You will own critical Android modules, turn product ideas into reliable experiences, and tackle performance, scalability, offline behavior, and device compatibility challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high‑quality Android applications using Kotlin.
• Build responsive, reusable UI components with Jetpack Compose.
• Own features from technical design through release and post‑production monitoring.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Backend, AI, Security, and Quality Engineering teams.
• Integrate REST APIs, WebSockets, push notifications, analytics, authentication, and third‑party services.
• Improve startup time, rendering performance, battery usage, memory consumption, and crash rates.
• Develop offline‑first experiences using local storage, caching, and data synchronization.
• Write modular, testable, maintainable code following MVVM/MVI/Clean Architecture patterns.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, sprint planning, and production troubleshooting.
• Monitor application health with crash reporting, analytics, logging, and performance tools.
• Maintain security standards for user data, API communication, and local storage.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, Play Store releases, staged rollouts, and production monitoring.

Required profile

• Strong Android fundamentals and product thinking.
• Ability to deliver production‑grade applications independently.
• Typically 4–6 years of Android development experience (mid‑level).
• Experience owning complex features and modules end‑to‑end.
