Android Developer – Rider & Delivery Apps

About the role

Fynd is looking for an Android Developer to build and maintain stable mobile applications that support rider and delivery operations. You will turn product requirements into reliable features, integrate complex services, and ensure the app runs smoothly for end‑users.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Android applications for rider and delivery workflows.
• Convert product requirements and designs into production‑ready features.
• Integrate REST APIs, maps, location tracking, push notifications, and offline capabilities.
• Improve app performance, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure reliability.
• Own the feature lifecycle from development and testing to Play Store release and production support.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of hands‑on Android development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Kotlin, Android SDK, Android Studio, Gradle, and Git.
• Experience with MVVM, ViewModel, repositories, and Android lifecycle components.
• Proficiency in building UI with Jetpack Compose, XML layouts, fragments, and navigation.
• Good understanding of Coroutines, Flow, threading, and asynchronous programming.
• Experience integrating REST APIs using JSON, Retrofit, and OkHttp.
• Familiarity with location services, Google Maps, push notifications, permissions, and background processing.
• Knowledge of Room, WorkManager, offline storage, and data synchronization.
• Ability to write unit and UI tests and a solid grasp of data structures and algorithms.
