Android Developer

About the role

As an Android Developer you will own the technology decisions that shape StockX’s Android experience. You will work in a high‑growth team, building and improving the mobile marketplace that connects a global community of buyers and sellers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test, and debug the StockX Android app using Android Studio.
• Build GraphQL and REST APIs to interact with backend services.
• Apply Clean Architecture, MVVM, and design patterns to ensure maintainable code.
• Create modern, scalable UI components with Jetpack Compose.
• Stay current with Kotlin, Android tools, and platform updates.
• Lead features from concept through A/B testing and release.
• Collaborate with product owners, program managers, and engineering managers to translate ambiguous requirements into resilient solutions.
• Promote best engineering practices, security, scalability, reliability, and performance.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional Android development experience.
• Strong understanding of Android platform conventions.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to document features and explain technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
