Android Developer – 2-6 Years Experience

About the role

We are seeking an Android Engineer to design, develop, and deliver custom Android applications from concept to marketplace. The ideal candidate blends strong engineering expertise with creativity and a focus on timely product delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in all phases of development, from design and planning to deployment and best‑practice definition.
• Rapidly prototype proof‑of‑concept features based on brief specifications.
• Develop and maintain new features using the Java/Kotlin stack.
• Own end‑to‑end delivery of specific system components or full applications.
• Write unit and UI test cases for assigned modules.
• Optimize app performance and stay current with mobile technology trends.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of software development experience with a degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of Android mobile application development.
• Experience in a start‑up environment is a plus.

Required skills

• Java and Kotlin programming languages.
• Android SDK and core components (Activities, Services, BroadcastReceivers, Intents, Handlers).
• Design patterns such as MVVM, MVP, MVI, MVC and Android Architecture Components.
• Third‑party libraries: RxJava, Retrofit, Dagger, Glide.
• Coroutines, multithreading, battery and memory optimization, location services, push notifications, remote config.
• Version control with Git.
