Analyst II – Tax

About the role

Invesco is seeking a Tax Analyst II to support its North America tax function from its Hyderabad centre. The role involves a mix of tax compliance, audit support, planning and research, working closely with on‑shore teams and external advisors.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing tax‑related financial data, footnotes and ensure ASC 740 compliance.
• Gather information and help prepare US federal (Form 1120) and state income tax returns for group companies.
• Review corporate tax returns prepared by US consultants before filing.
• Prepare corporate tax returns and direct tax reports for Canadian jurisdiction.
• Support internal and external tax audits by collecting required data and addressing queries.
• Collaborate on tax planning initiatives to optimise tax positions and minimise risk.
• Monitor changes in Canadian tax law and analyse their impact on the business.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in a tax role, preferably with a Big‑6 firm or GBS environment focused on NA tax compliance.
• Strong understanding of US and Canadian tax regulations and international tax accounting principles.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
