Analyst, Accounting & Reporting

About the role

As an Analyst in Accounting & Reporting, you will own the end‑to‑end integrity of financial reporting and month‑end close processes for a global consumer products business. You will ensure compliance with US GAAP, drive SOX controls, and provide high‑quality management information to support strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile balance‑sheet and bank accounts, and follow up on open items.
• Maintain compliance with US GAAP, Indian GAAP and IFRS standards.
• Execute intercompany transactions, cash application and netting for ICO customers and vendors.
• Prepare and post rule‑based journal entries and manage the full month‑end close in coordination with local teams.
• Respond to audit queries and ensure timely resolution.
• Engage with local teams to align processes and resolve issues promptly.
• Assess and support the transition from FI to PA modules at month‑end.
• Review and update SOPs, recommending improvements in consultation with stakeholders.
• Perform SOX‑related compliance activities and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• B.Com or MBA degree.
• Strong knowledge of Indian GAAP, US GAAP and IFRS.
• Experience with month‑end close, intercompany accounting and audit support.
• Effective communication and people‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Google Suite.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP.
• Understanding of SOX compliance requirements.
