About the role

The All Rounder Commi-2 Cook joins BNB Luxury Rooms in Jalandhar to support the kitchen team in delivering high‑quality, guest‑focused meals. This full‑time, on‑site position involves preparing a variety of dishes while maintaining strict food safety and presentation standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior chefs in preparing and cooking diverse menu items.
• Carry out mise en place tasks and ensure all stations are stocked.
• Follow standard recipes, portion guidelines, and plating specifications.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the kitchen.
• Manage basic inventory of ingredients and report shortages.
• Coordinate with the service team to deliver meals on time.
• Adhere to hygiene regulations and participate in scheduled kitchen shifts.

Required profile

• Strong basic cooking skills with experience across multiple cuisines.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and kitchen hygiene.
• Ability to follow recipes accurately and work efficiently during busy periods.
• Good time‑management, organization, and teamwork abilities.
• Prior experience in a hotel or restaurant kitchen at a commis level is preferred.
• Willingness to learn, take direction and adapt to BNB Luxury Rooms’ culinary standards.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and holidays as needed.
