Algorithm SW Developer – Braking Systems for Hybrid & Autonomous Vehicles

About the role

We are looking for an Algorithm Software Developer to design and implement control algorithms for braking system products such as ESP, ESPHev, IPB, DPB and BWA. The role focuses on hybrid electric and autonomous vehicle functions and requires compliance with automotive quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and integrate control algorithm software for various braking system modules.
• Ensure software complies with ASPICE processes and automotive safety standards.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define requirements and validate implementations.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing and debugging using tools such as CANTATA and automotive debuggers.
• Maintain configuration and version control using ClearCase/RTC/ALM/MKS.

Required profile

• B.E/B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech in Electronics & Communication or Electrical Engineering.
• 4‑8 years of experience in embedded automotive software development.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with good communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in C and C++ programming.
• Experience with model‑based development tools such as ASCET or MATLAB.
• Familiarity with requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS).
• Knowledge of configuration management tools (ClearCase, RTC, ALM, MKS).
• Unit testing tools like CANTATA and automotive debuggers.
• Understanding of ISO 26262 safety standards and ASPICE processes.
• Awareness of automotive communication protocols (CAN, FlexRay) – advantageous.
• Exposure to EV or autonomous vehicle functions – advantageous.
