Algorithm Software Developer – Braking Systems for EV & Autonomous Vehicles

About the role

We are looking for an Algorithm Software Developer to design and implement control algorithms for braking system products, including ESP, ESPHev, IPB, DPB and BWA, within hybrid electric and autonomous vehicle functions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop embedded control algorithm software for various braking system modules.
• Ensure compliance with ASPICE and ISO‑26262 safety standards.
• Perform model‑based development using ASCET or MATLAB.
• Manage requirements with DOORS and maintain code using SCM tools such as ClearCase, RTC, ALM or MKS.
• Conduct unit testing with CANTATA and debug using appropriate tools.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders.

Required profile

• B.E/B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech in Electronics & Communication or Electrical Engineering.
• 4–8 years of experience in embedded automotive software development.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Programming in C and C++.
• Embedded automotive software development.
• Model‑based development tools: ASCET, MATLAB.
• Requirements management: DOORS.
• Source control and configuration management: ClearCase, RTC, ALM, MKS.
• Unit testing tools: CANTATA.
• Automotive communication protocols: CAN, FlexRay.
• Safety standards knowledge: ISO‑26262, ASPICE.
