Algorithm Developer

About the role

As an Algorithm Developer in the Analytics Center of Excellence, you will create advanced analytics, machine learning and optimization solutions that boost productivity across Service Operations for a global leader in semiconductor equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy analytics, machine‑learning and optimization models that drive operational efficiency and customer value.
• Analyze complex field and operational data to uncover productivity opportunities, root causes and high‑impact improvement initiatives.
• Build predictive models, decision‑support tools and business cases linking productivity gains to revenue, margin and quality outcomes.
• Collaborate with Sales, Field Service, Engineering and other stakeholder teams to define requirements, prioritize investments and ensure successful adoption.
• Establish performance monitoring frameworks, dashboards and KPIs to track impact and drive accountability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research or a related technical field.
• 3–7 years of experience in algorithm development, analytics, machine learning, productivity improvement or service operations.
• Proven ability to translate operational challenges into scalable analytical solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work across global, cross‑functional teams.
