Algorithm Developer – Computer Vision & Machine Learning

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated Algorithm Developer to develop advanced computer vision, machine learning, and image processing solutions for next‑generation semiconductor inspection and metrology systems. The successful candidate will contribute to the design, development, optimization, and deployment of innovative algorithms that enable critical product capabilities and deliver measurable customer value.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize advanced inspection and metrology algorithms for semiconductor applications.
• Apply state‑of‑the‑art computer vision, image processing, machine learning, and deep learning techniques to solve complex product and customer challenges.
• Develop robust, scalable algorithms for defect detection, classification, image segmentation, registration, and related tasks.
• Optimize algorithm performance for high‑throughput production using CPU, GPU, and parallel computing techniques.
• Collaborate with product management, applications engineering, and systems teams to translate requirements into features and integrate algorithms into production software.
• Participate in technical design reviews, implementation planning, release activities, and resolve field‑related algorithm issues.

Required profile

• MS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of industry experience developing computer vision, image processing, machine learning or computational imaging algorithms.
• Strong programming skills in C++ and Python.
• Solid understanding of computer vision, machine learning and deep learning techniques.
• Experience developing algorithms for complex, hardware‑integrated systems.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and technical communication skills.
