Airport Regulatory Requirements Specialist (DGCA Compliance)

About the role

We are looking for a Specialist in Airport Regulatory Requirements and DGCA Compliance to ensure our airport projects meet all applicable aviation regulations and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with DGCA, ICAO, BCAS, AAI and other aviation regulatory requirements.
• Review airport designs, drawings and layouts for regulatory adherence.
• Coordinate with DGCA and statutory authorities for approvals, inspections and audits.
• Prepare and maintain regulatory documentation, compliance reports and checklists.
• Support aerodrome licensing, renewal and variation processes.
• Monitor regulatory changes and implement updates promptly.
• Conduct internal compliance audits and gap assessments.
• Liaise with project teams, consultants and contractors to ensure regulatory standards are met.
• Assist with Safety Management System (SMS) implementation and regulatory reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in aviation management, Aeronautical Engineering or related field; Master’s degree or certification in regulatory compliance or aviation safety preferred.
• Minimum 10 years experience managing large‑scale aviation infrastructure projects, preferably in live airport environments.

Required skills

• Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
• Expert knowledge of DGCA and international aviation regulations.
• Experience with Safety Management System (SMS) implementation.
