Airport Business Development Manager

About the role

The Airport Business Development Manager will lead the expansion of Krishna’s Herbal & Ayurveda’s presence across domestic and international airport retail environments. Based in Jodhpur, this hybrid role combines on‑site activities with remote work to identify, evaluate, and secure new business opportunities in duty‑free stores, lounges, kiosks and other travel‑focused formats.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and assess airport retail opportunities, conduct market and competitor analysis.
• Develop and execute airport‑specific sales and merchandising strategies.
• Generate leads, prepare pitches, negotiate contracts and close deals with airport authorities, concessionaires and distributors.
• Coordinate with internal sales, marketing, supply‑chain and finance teams to ensure product availability and brand compliance.
• Monitor sales performance, optimise product assortments, and manage promotional activities at airport locations.
• Maintain strong relationships with external partners and ensure adherence to contractual and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development, key account management or channel sales, preferably in FMCG, wellness or retail.
• Exposure to travel retail or airport concessions is an advantage.
• Strong market research, forecasting and data‑driven decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent relationship‑building, stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills.
• Experience creating go‑to‑market plans, category planning and in‑store merchandising.
• Solid understanding of commercial contracts, pricing structures, margins and basic financial analysis.
