Airfield Ground Lighting (AGL) Expert

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Airfield Ground Lighting (AGL) Expert with 8–10 years of aviation experience to lead planning, design, and implementation of AGL systems, ensuring compliance with ICAO Annex 14, FAA and airport authority standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead planning, design and specification of AGL systems including runway, taxiway, apron, approach, stop‑bar, guidance and obstruction lighting.
• Develop layout plans, circuiting, Constant Current Regulator sizing, ducting and pit layouts.
• Ensure compliance with ICAO Annex 14, FAA and relevant airport authority standards.
• Coordinate with airside civil, electrical, ATC/ATM and signage teams for integration.
• Review vendor submittals, interface drawings and photometric performance data.
• Provide technical support during construction, testing, calibration and commissioning.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics or Electronics & Communication Engineering.
• 8–10 years of professional experience with a focus on Airfield Ground Lighting systems.
• Mandatory experience in the aviation sector and familiarity with airport operations.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of ICAO Annex 14 and FAA standards.
• Proficiency with AGL design tools, CAD software and simulation tools.
• Experience with Constant Current Regulator sizing and photometric calibration.
• Ability to produce detailed layout and circuiting plans.
