AI/ML Expert – Applied AI Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an Applied AI/ML Engineer to develop sophisticated models that combine visual and time‑series data for automotive applications. The role involves end‑to‑end model development, from data analysis and feature engineering to training, evaluation and deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and validate machine‑learning models for computer‑vision tasks such as object detection, image segmentation, facial analysis and classification, ensuring high accuracy on automotive image datasets.
• Develop time‑series solutions for forecasting, anomaly detection and sequential classification, tailoring models to sensor data streams from vehicles.
• Implement multi‑modal models that fuse visual and temporal information to improve predictive performance across diverse driving scenarios.
• Apply and fine‑tune deep‑learning architectures (CNNs, Transformers, LSTMs, GRUs) and statistical methods (ARIMA, Prophet) to meet stringent performance and latency requirements.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis, create novel feature‑engineering pipelines, and optimise model efficiency and accuracy through hyper‑parameter tuning and model compression techniques.

Required profile

• B‑Tech degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science or a related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of hands‑on experience in AI/ML model development, preferably within the automotive sector or similar high‑reliability environments.
