Advanced Principal, Data Management

About the role

Invesco is seeking an Advanced Principal for Data Management to lead the delivery of high‑quality data across its Investment & Distribution Services. The role operates within a global, follow‑the‑sun Portfolio Services team, providing 24/7 support to investment partners and ensuring data integrity for the Investment Book of Record.

Key responsibilities

• Act as subject‑matter expert and primary escalation point for complex, cross‑region production issues.
• Lead internal and cross‑functional global projects, conducting research, analysis, and consensus‑building.
• Coordinate responses, document outcomes, and train global team members on data‑management processes.
• Provide guidance and day‑to‑day operational support to colleagues in production environments.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders such as Investments, Compliance, Custodians, Fund Accounting Agents, Transfer Agents and outsourcing vendors.
• Oversee cash‑management services and ensure alignment with SMART data principles.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability to self‑manage, prioritize work independently and escalate issues appropriately.
• Proven experience mentoring and sharing knowledge with global teams.
• Strong communication skills to interact with senior business partners and external vendors.
• Experience leading critical production issue resolution and global project delivery.
