Advanced Engineer II – Engineering Run

About the role

Invesco is seeking an Advanced Engineer II to join the Engineering Run team, supporting investment and compliance applications. The role combines development of small enhancements with production support for critical systems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop small changes (<120 hours) and project work for supported applications, handling analysis, coding, unit testing, QA, system testing, and implementation.
• Assist managers in estimating effort for system enhancements and create up‑to‑date support documentation.
• Provide weekly status updates and coordinate testing with internal teams and vendors.
• Support the Investment and Compliance Production Environment, including out‑of‑hours, weekend, and holiday coverage.
• Perform system upgrades, review functional changes, conduct testing, train users, and update documentation.
• Troubleshoot critical applications and batch processes, escalating issues as needed.
• Participate in meetings, Agile/TOT practices, personal development planning, and administrative tasks.

Required profile

• 5 to 9 years of experience analyzing business or technical problems and delivering solutions.
• Technical knowledge of system/software support within the investment management industry.
