Administrative Accountant – Full‑time, On‑site

About the role

Essence Innovation is seeking an Administrative Accountant to join its finance team in Mohali. The role is full‑time and on‑site, supporting the company’s AI‑powered health platform by ensuring accurate financial operations and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update the general ledger, process invoices and payments.
• Perform account reconciliations and prepare regular financial reports.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis for planning purposes.
• Monitor expenses, ensure timely recording of transactions and support month‑end close.
• Collaborate with internal teams to prepare for audits and uphold accounting standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and internal controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Professional certification (CPA, CA, CMA) is a plus.
• Experience in a corporate or startup environment, preferably in technology or healthcare.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset and ability to meet deadlines.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
