About the role

Hudson County Community College seeks a qualified Registered Nurse to join its School of Nursing and Health Professions as an Adjunct Faculty member. The position involves delivering both clinical and classroom instruction to nursing students, supporting their development in a supportive, diverse learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clinical instruction, including labs and patient evaluations, in affiliated healthcare settings.
• Deliver didactic lectures and laboratory sessions for nursing courses.
• Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with full‑time faculty to align curriculum with accreditation standards.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Nursing or related field (required).
• 2–4 years of medical‑surgical nursing experience (required); 5–8 years preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Professional demeanor, effective communication, teamwork, and cultural competency.
