ADAS Resident Engineer – Renault Project (Chennai)

About the role

Join Bosch Global Software Technologies as an ADAS Resident Engineer supporting Renault's ADAS projects in Chennai. You will work on cutting‑edge camera and radar systems, ensuring seamless integration and calibration across bench and vehicle platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Flash, install, integrate and calibrate camera‑based ADAS control units and front/corner radar ECUs.
• Coordinate and centralise technical discussions between OEM and Bosch teams.
• Collaborate with an international, multidisciplinary team to resolve issues.
• Investigate, prioritise, and document non‑conformities; develop action plans for the development team.
• Maintain regular status exchanges between Bosch and the OEM.
• Work primarily at the Renault RNTBCI site in Chennai with regular travel to other OEM and Bosch locations.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Mechatronics, Automobile Engineering or a related field.
• 7–15 years of experience in automotive ADAS development.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities, autonomous work style, and excellent communication.
• Valid Indian driving licence and proficiency in English (local language preferred).

Required skills

• Vector CANape and CANoe tooling.
• EE architecture and CAN diagnostics.
• Hardware‑in‑the‑Loop (HIL) testing and vehicle testing.
• JIRA and IBM Doors for issue tracking.
• Knowledge of ADAS regulations and NCAP protocols.
• Familiarity with OEM organisational processes.
