Acompañante de ruta escolar – Gáldar (Gran Canaria)

About the role

We are looking for a School Route Companion to ensure the safety and well‑being of passengers on school transport routes in Gáldar, Gran Canaria. The role involves supervising children during their journey, assisting with boarding and alighting, and maintaining a secure environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and support students throughout the school transport route.
• Ensure safe boarding and disembarking at designated stops.
• Maintain order and address any incidents promptly.
• Report any safety concerns or irregularities to the operations team.
• Assist with basic administrative tasks related to the service.

Required profile

• Possession of a valid Category B driving licence (or willingness to obtain one).
• Ability to provide a criminal background check for sexual offences.
• Residency in Gáldar or surrounding area is preferred.
• Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not mandatory.

What we offer

• Fixed‑term discontinuous contract from September 2026 to June 2027.
• Part‑time schedule: 17.5 hours per week, split into two shifts (07:00‑09:00 and 12:45‑15:00, Monday‑Friday).
