Accounts & Stores Officer

About the role

The company, located in the Narsapur Industrial Area (near Hoskote), is seeking a responsible Accounts & Stores Officer to manage invoicing, material movement, and store operations within a manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Generate invoices and delivery challans for material movement.
• Handle inward store activities, receive materials, and prepare Goods Receipt Notes (GRN).
• Manage outbound dispatch of finished goods according to schedule.
• Coordinate with inward inspection and maintain bin‑based storage.
• Prepare monthly requirements for raw materials, tools, and consumables.
• Liaise with vendors to ensure timely supplies.
• Conduct monthly stock checks, report discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor work‑in‑progress (WIP) at various production stages and control scrap disposal.
• Maintain 5S standards in stores and loading/unloading areas.
• Plan storage space, codify new materials, and schedule material pickup vehicles.
• Manage purchase orders and interact with customer buyers.

Required profile

• Any degree holder.
• Minimum 5 years of stores operations experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Proficiency in Kannada, Hindi, and English (additional languages a plus).

Required skills

• Expertise in Tally, including the Stores Management module.
