Accounts Officer

About the role

The Accounts Officer will independently manage all accounting, financial, statutory, and administrative activities for a CGH Earth resort. Working closely with the General Manager and Corporate Finance team, the role ensures financial discipline, compliance, and timely reporting to support the resort’s operational objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain books of accounts, record financial transactions accurately, and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
• Ensure timely closure of accounts, submission of financial statements, and monitor revenue, expenses, and departmental costs.
• Process vendor invoices, manage payments, monitor receivables, reconcile supplier accounts, and control advances, deposits, and credit arrangements.
• Handle cash collections, petty cash, banking transactions, daily revenue reconciliation, cash‑flow monitoring, and enforce cash‑handling policies.
• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, PF, ESI, Professional Tax and other statutory requirements; coordinate audits and maintain statutory records.
• Monitor inventory controls, participate in physical verification, manage stores and fixed assets, and analyze costs to improve efficiency.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting, track actual performance against budgets, and provide financial insights for decision‑making.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, and Maintenance to support smooth operations and procurement activities.
