Accounts Executive

About the role

The Accounts Executive will manage daily billing and cash operations for a retail store specializing in consumer electronics and durables. Working on the shop floor, you will ensure accurate transaction processing, timely reconciliations, and excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain billing accuracy and meet billing turnaround time (TAT) targets.
• Perform daily cash reconciliation, monitor cash shortage/excess and ensure transaction accuracy.
• Process refunds, cancellations and payment transactions with precision.
• Prepare and verify documentation to support audit and compliance requirements.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and contribute to process improvements.
• Provide courteous assistance to customers regarding billing queries.

Required profile

• Strong numerical and analytical ability.
• High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure during peak hours.
• Basic knowledge of accounting and billing processes.
• Good communication and customer‑handling skills.
• Integrity, confidentiality and responsible cash handling.

Required skills

• Proficiency with POS/billing systems.
• Competent computer skills for data entry and reporting.
