Accounting Manager

About the role

Frontline Managed Services® is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead day‑to‑day accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and strengthen internal controls. The role supports business leaders with financial insights and helps scale processes as the company grows.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual close processes and prepare management reporting packages.
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations and maintain the general ledger.
• Oversee revenue recognition, ensuring compliance with ASC 606 and U.S. GAAP.
• Review client contracts for proper accounting treatment and monitor deferred and accrued revenue.
• Strengthen accounting policies, procedures and internal controls; support audit activities.
• Identify and implement process improvements, automation and reporting efficiencies.
• Collaborate with FP&A, operations, sales and leadership to align financial goals.
• Support ERP enhancements, system implementations and process transformation initiatives.
• Lead, coach and develop accounting team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• CPA or CA qualification preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Experience in professional services, managed services, consulting, technology services or SaaS environments.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and revenue recognition principles.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP/accounting platforms such as NetSuite, Sage Intacct or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition.
