Accounting Manager

About the role

The Accounting Manager will lead the Accounting Supervisors in Ahmedabad, ensuring alignment with the US Tax/Accounting Management team. This role focuses on maintaining high performance, efficient processes, and strong cross‑department collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee Accounting Supervisors and ensure their teams meet performance expectations.
• Collaborate with US and other entity Tax/Accounting Management teams on policy implementation and performance monitoring.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure timely monthly/quarterly financial closes.
• Identify and drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and internal controls.
• Facilitate smooth workflow and communication between Accounting and other departments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in international accounting, with at least 2 years in a management role.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and communication abilities.
• Proven ability to develop supervisors and improve team performance.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience using reporting tools.
• Knowledge of KPIs and performance management systems.
