Accountant (Night Shift)

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant to join our Finance team on the night shift at our Coimbatore office. The role supports end‑to‑end accounting operations aligned with US/Western Standard Time, focusing on staffing and recruitment billing cycles.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full Accounts Receivable cycle: invoice generation, billing, collections, and aging reports, including staffing‑specific billing.
• Oversee the complete Accounts Payable process: vendor invoice verification, approval workflows, expense coding, and timely payments.
• Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations across multiple accounts and currencies, including merchant and credit‑card statements.
• Prepare journal entries, maintain the General Ledger, and assist with month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Coordinate GST (GSTR‑1, GSTR‑3B) and international VAT filings, ensuring statutory compliance.
• Maintain accounting records in QuickBooks (Online/Desktop) and Xero, importing payroll, time‑tracking, and ATS data.
• Generate financial reports and provide accurate information to management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting or related field (B.Com/M.Com preferred).
• 2–3 years of core accounting experience, preferably in staffing, recruitment or outsourcing.
• Hands‑on experience with QuickBooks and Xero.
• Strong knowledge of AR, AP, bank reconciliation, GST/VAT compliance and general ledger accounting.
