Accountant / Management Accountant – Full‑time

About the role

The Human Loops is seeking an experienced and detail‑oriented Accountant to oversee day‑to‑day accounting operations, statutory compliance, payroll support, and financial reporting for its AI‑focused operations in Nagpur.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate books of accounts, record all financial transactions, and prepare journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, and perform regular bank reconciliations.
• Process monthly payroll, calculate salary components, deductions, reimbursements, and handle final settlements.
• Administer statutory deductions such as Professional Tax, Provident Fund, ESIC, and TDS.
• Prepare and file GST returns and ensure timely TDS calculations and filings.
• Coordinate with HR for attendance data and payroll inputs, and support statutory compliance reporting.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, taxation, payroll, and statutory filings.
• Detail‑oriented with ability to manage multiple financial processes simultaneously.
• Preferred certification: CMA.
