Accountant / Management Accountant (CMA Preferred)

About the role

Vinayak Outsourcing Works is seeking a diligent Accountant / Management Accountant to join its finance team in Raipur. The role involves managing day‑to‑day accounting activities, preparing financial reports, and supporting budgeting and tax compliance for the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Process and record all accounting transactions accurately.
• Prepare budget forecasts and ensure timely publication of financial statements.
• Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities.
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable and oversee bank payments.
• Compute taxes, prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Maintain balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and report on financial health and liquidity.
• Audit financial transactions, safeguard data confidentiality and perform database backups when required.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an accountant, preferably in a corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and Indian accounting regulations.
• BSc in Accounting, Finance or a related field; CMA or CPA certification is a plus.
• Excellent analytical abilities and strong attention to detail.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with FreshBooks and QuickBooks.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
• Familiarity with general ledger functions.
