Accountant / Management Accountant (CMA Preferred)

About the role

We are seeking a diligent Accountant / Management Accountant to join our finance team in Raipur. The role involves managing day‑to‑day accounting activities, preparing financial reports, and supporting budgeting and tax compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all accounting transactions and maintain accurate records.
• Prepare budget forecasts and publish timely financial statements.
• Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings, including reconciliation of accounts payable and receivable.
• Compute taxes, prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Maintain balance sheets, profit & loss statements and report on the company’s financial health.
• Audit financial transactions, safeguard data confidentiality and perform database backups as needed.

Required profile

• Work experience as an Accountant or Management Accountant.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and Indian accounting regulations.
• BSc in Accounting, Finance or a related field; CMA or CPA certification is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical abilities.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with accounting software such as FreshBooks and QuickBooks.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
• Familiarity with general ledger functions and account reconciliation.
