Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant to manage the full spectrum of financial operations for multiple entities within our WEFIRE® division. The role involves maintaining accurate books, handling payroll, and ensuring compliance with GST and other statutory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain books of accounts and accounting records in ZOHO Books for multiple companies.
• Handle bank reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable.
• Process payroll, including PF, ESIC, and TDS calculations.
• Maintain stock accounting, ledgers, and inventory reconciliation.
• Prepare and manage sales and purchase invoices.
• Perform GST reconciliations, including GSTR‑2A.
• Coordinate purchase orders for inventory replenishment.
• Participate in internal 5S audits.

Required profile

• Honest, sincere, and detail‑oriented professional.
• Positive attitude with an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Good communication skills in English and Hindi (Marathi preferred).
• Independent thinker eager to learn and grow.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ZOHO Books and core accounting principles.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial statements.
• Experience with inventory management and bank reconciliation.
• Familiarity with GST compliance and taxation.
• Proficient in MS Excel and other accounting software.
