Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant to join our finance team in Kumbakonam. You will be responsible for managing day‑to‑day financial activities, ensuring accurate record‑keeping, and supporting the company’s financial decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Record transactions and maintain the general ledger.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and analysis for management.
• Assist with budgeting, month‑end, and year‑end closing processes.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.
• Respond to audit requests and contribute to finance process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification (CA, CMA, CPA or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Experience in corporate or multinational environments, preferably in fast‑paced, growth‑oriented businesses.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential financial information responsibly.
